    Coffeelake-S 8th Gen Reviews Intel 8th Gen Core ‘Coffee Lake-S’ Review Roundup Seven months after Ryzen’s domination in multi-core mainstream market Intel finally has a response. It is rushed, so the availability might be a problem. Intel finally understood that quad-core CPUs out of interest of gamers who also like to stream or create their own content. The 6-core family products spans across Core i7 and Core i5 series. For the first time Intel has a mainstream processor with 6 cores and for the first time, Intel has a 6-core CPU under 200 USD (i5-8400). This is a serious move from Intel, the competition in multi-core market has just began. Intel Coffeelake-S CPUs will only support 300 series motherboards. This means that an upgrade from Skylake or Kabylake will much more expensive. Unlike AMD, Intel did not officially confirm whether upgraded LGA1151 socket will support future CPUs, so this is something to consider before buying a new motherboard. The new 6-core family is also likely to affect the sales of 7th Gen Core-X CPUs, especially the i7-7800X. The Coffelake-S has much better overclocking potential, it is cheaper and has lower TDP. Unless you need more PCIe lanes, the 8700K will definitely be a better choice.

    Αποκαλύφθηκαν τα νέα χαρακτηριστικά του Football Manager 2018 Η Sports Interactive ανακοίνωσε τα νέα χαρακτηριστικά του Football Manager 2018 με έναν ιδιαίτερο τρόπο από ότι έχουμε συνηθίσει. Ο τίτλος θα διαθέτει νέα μηχανή γραφικών, ανανεωμένο σύστημα scouting, βελτιώσεις στο σχεδιασμό των γηπέδων και της παρουσιάσεως του αγώνα και θα εμβαθύνει περισσότερο στην τακτική του αθλήματος. Σύμφωνα με δηλώσεις της ομάδας ανάπτυξης, ένα από τα ενδιαφέροντα νέα χαρακτηριστικά που θα προσφέρει φέτος ο τίτλος θα είναι κάτι που οι ίδιοι το αναφέρουν ως “dynamics”, χωρίς ωστόσο να υπάρχουν αρκετές λεπτομέρειες σχετικά με το θέμα. Βεβαία, η ομάδα δεσμεύτηκε πως θα υπάρξουν περισσότερες πληροφορίες -σύντομα- μέσω των νέων videos που ετοιμάζει.

    /\/\ αμαρτωλή!!! Σήμερα είχε γλυκάκι το πρόγραμμα (κι όχι δεν είναι μπουγάτσα)! Το ταψάκι κρέμα γιώτης με μπισκότα παπαδοπούλου η γέμιση (στο ψυγείο για να έτοιμο αύριο)! και χόουμ μέϊντ κρεπούλες, δεν έχω ασχοληθεί/φτιάξει ποτέ, βγήκανε .......

    Intel Core i7-8700K delidded Intel was not really planning to share this information with anyone yet, but thanks to guys over at HKEPC we get to see what is hidden under the IHS. The die is the same width as Kabylake 7700K, but it is noticeably longer. The 6-core Coffeelake-S CPU has a die size around 151mm2. This is not accurate because the calculations are based on the pixel area, but it it’s good enough for now. This means that the i7-8700K has around 29mm2 more die area for the additional 2 cores. Every reviewer I spoke with says that 5 GHz should not be a problem on Coffeelake 8700K, especially with AIO cooling. If you want to go higher, delidding is highly recommended although risky. The LGA1151 delidding tools work for Coffeelake, so it’s only a matter of time before you start seeing videos showing the exact process (I think they should go live tomorrow). Source: HKEPC

    Limited Availability Coffee lake at Launch and in Q4 It is hard to gauge whether or not it’s a bit of a click-bait from some media outlets, but granted it’s possible. Word out is that Coffee Lake processors will see limited availability at launch and the remainder of 2017. We all know that Intel kinda rushed the Coffee lake launch forward to have an answer to AMD. The quick push forward is likely to result in limited availability of the processor series in Q4 2017 as the original launch was expected to be in Q1 2018. The guys from SweClockers mention that they did rounds are Swedish etailers and, the word back was that they have very little stock. If that is the case on a global scale, then it will have an adverse effect on final etail pricing of course as high-demand drives up prices. It seems that Core i7-8700K, Core i5-8600K, and Core i3-8350K are on stock to some degree yet the Core i7-8700, Core i5-8400 and Core i3- 8100 have not even reached the stores yet.
