Μιά χαρά είναι, φτου-φτου μην το ματιάσω ?

Πολύ πιο ομοιόμορφο το "άσπρισμα" του δικό σου πάνελ. Εμένα και στα δυο το κέντρο ήταν προς το μαύρο και οι γωνίες ανοίγανε πολύ, ειδικά οι κάτω αριστερά. Έχω πάρει από φόβο τα IPS και τη λοταρία τους και προσανατολίζομαι σε VA.

Για την LG διάβασα και σε άλλο θέμα εδώ μέσα αλλά αφ'ενός μεν όλα δείχνουν ότι η τιμή θα ξεφεύγει, αφ'ετέρου δε είναι IPS και έχω τρομάξει με την γκαντεμιά μου στη λοταρία των panel. Η δική σου είναι ΤΝ, όσο καλό και να είναι το θεωρώ πισογύρισμα εν έτει 2019. Γι' αυτό κοιτάζω σε VA.

Για να πάω σε 144Hz σε EIZO πάμε στα 1000€, οπότε δεν τικάρει το κουτάκι του budget. Λέω να κρατήσω και τα δυο νεφρά μου ακόμα. Και τα 620€ που έδωσα για την Aorus υπέρβαση ήταν. Άσε που έχω τρομάξει τόσο με τα IPS panel που δεν θέλω ούτε να τα ακούω.

Μέσα είναι και η δικιά μου. Όχι ότι καίγομαι για upgrade βέβαια, αλλά ποτέ δεν ξέρεις... ?

Μετά το φιστίκι που έφαγα με την Aorus και αφού θα γίνει refund είμαι ξανά σε αναζήτηση οθόνης. Λόγω της τραυματικής εμπειρίας με το IPS glow, και αφού έζησα τις 27" και το 144Hz refresh rate προσανατολίζομαι στη Samsung 27CHG70 ή στο μεγαλύτερο αδερφάκι της την Samsung C32HG70 μιας και τικάρουν τα κουτάκια NOT IPS, 2Κ, min 27", 144Hz, Freesync. Κάθε γνώμη ευπρόσδεκτη μιας και είμαι υπ'ατμόν για άμεση παραγγελία.

Τελικά το ξεχεστήριο (με επιχειρήματα) απέδωσε το καλύτερο δυνατό αποτέλεσμα : refund. Οπότε κάπoυ εδώ η περιπέτεια μου με την Aorus τελειώνει με χαμένο χρόνο, εκνευρισμό, απογοήτευση και κανά μισό ντεπόζιτο βενζίνη στα πήγαινε-έλα ΑΛΛΑ χωρίς να χάσω τα χρήματα της αγοράς ή να πρέπει να ζήσω με προβληματικό monitor. @Therion13 : Ευχαριστώ για τον χρόνο και κόπο σου, αλλά τώρα πια δρομολογήθηκε το ζήτημα. Έτσι από περιέργεια πάντως θα ποστάρω φωτό, στις ίδιες σκηνές που έβγαλα και με την Aorus, από την 23" LG του 2013 που έχω.

Σαν οθόνη είναι καταπληκτική, χρώματα, απόκριση, κρυστάλλινη εικόνα, ποιοτική κατασκευή... ΑΛΛΑ...

Πριν από λίγο πήγα και την παρέλαβα από Msystems, αν βρω το χρόνο και το κουράγιο θα την ξεπακετάρω κάποια στιγμή το ΣΚ να το δοκιμάσω. Ευχαριστώ για την παρατήρηση, εγώ είδα μόνο τα διαγράμματα και - κυρίως - την εικόνα με σκοτεινό φόντο. Πάντως δεν τρέφω μεγάλες ελπίδες γιατί και ο @staxtis νομίζω δεν την πείραξε, ας επιβεβαιώσει αν το διαβάσει.

Βρε τι αλάτι στην πληγή, μια χαρά κάνεις. Είχα γράψει ότι I'll bite the bullet και θα την πάρω. Έ, η σφαίρα έσκασε. Πάντως αν κάποια από τις δικές μου είχε το glow αυτής της δοκιμής... πίτες θα έκανα (τρόπος του λέγειν, μην δημιουργούνται εντυπώσεις ?).

Μάλλον glow είναι τελικά δες και τα προηγούμενα ποστ με τον @salde. Το refund το έχω στα υπόψη μου αλλά είπα να μην το ρίξω κατευθείαν στο τραπέζι, αν και έχω ξενερώσει τόσο που θα ήταν το ιδανικό. Αν σου είναι εύκολο ανέβασε καμία φωτό από τη δική σου σε σκοτεινή σκηνή χωρίς φώτα να την έχω καβάντζα.

The replacement monitor has the same glow problem on the same spot, the lower left corner. This one does not distort light colors but whenever the image is dark on that area (in game, movie or application) there is a very distinct silverish glow which is annoying and distracting. I have turned down the brightness to the level of my personal liking (60%-70%) to no avail. B. The only setting that decreases the glow, but still to a point where it is perceivable and annoying, is when the monitor is rotated all the way to the right and tilted all the way upwards. In addition to not rectifying the problem you can imagine how aesthetically displeasing is a monitor with that arrangement. C. Indeed, the glow is no longer perceivable when the viewing distance is at least 1,5m. Yet at this distance it is impossible to use it as a monitor but only as a TV. My desk layout sets my viewing distance to ~70-80cm. D. I have tried using a desk lamp behind the monitor yet the glow is still perceivable. I do not like to play with the room lights on as the games I prefer are immersive and have a lot of dark scenes, and by the way it is not stated anywhere in the monitors specs that it is unsuitable for this genre. · “It's not defected as it is currently technically not possible to build an IPS monitor without IPS Glow and avoid all Backlight Bleeding” Agreed, I am aware that bleed and glow is an inherit property of IPS panels and I am not asking to get one with zero of both. Yet there are thresholds beyond of which a monitor is practically unusable. Both of the monitors I received had the glow problem to an extent where it is distracting and annoying and causing me frustration every time I used them. · “All IPS panels have IPS glow, so even if we exchange with a brand new one (again), we still can’t guarantee it will not happen on the new monitor.” Regarding the part “All IPS panels have IPS glow“ I have commented previously. As for the part “so even if we exchange with a brand new one (again), we still can’t guarantee it will not happen on the new monitor” well… it leads to some very disturbing conclusions and raises a very serious question. This monitor is sold as a premium product at a premium price (I got mine 620€) and is Aorus first product in a very competitive category of computer peripherals. I would expect that such a venture would be backed up by a high level QC procedure to minimize the number of dissatisfied customers and help the product gain popularity and market share. Instead, I got a 2/2 with excessive glow and one other person I know had the same problem with his 1st one and got lucky with it’s replacement. So my statistics up to now show a 75% IPS glow failure ratio and imply an ineffective (non existent?) QC. If I’m getting this right, your suggestion is to keep a monitor I cannot use due to its excessive glow because the new one might be as messed up as this??? In conclusion, I am going to initiate an RMA request myself and will continue doing so until I get a usable monitor. I do not accept having spent 620€ of my hard earned money to compromise with a distinct, annoying and distracting glow problem. Οοοοοκ, respect! Το ρώτησα γιατί αν ήταν mandatory η χρήση ECC memory θα ήταν απαγορευτική η χρήση σε home συστήματα.

Είχα διαβάσει ότι το ZFS είναι ευαίσθητο σε τυχόν random memory errors, γι'αυτό είναι must η χρήση ECC chips. Ισχύει ακόμη;
