Πρόσφατα έγινα μέλος της AIESEC Πανεπιστημιού Πειραιώς και βρίσκομαι στο στάδιο αναζήτησης πρακτικής άσκησης στο εξωτερικό.

Παραθέτω κάποιες πληροφορίες στην αγγλική γλώσσα για φοιτητές ή απόφοιτους (προπτυχιακών ή μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών) που ενδιαφέρονται να ζήσουν και να εργαστούν στο εξωτερικό για 1-2 χρόνια.

Το παρόν θέμα δεν έχει σκοπό την διαφήμιση του οργανισμού.

AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by student and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.

AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, creed religion, national, ethnic or social origin.

Exchange program

Apart its global learning environment and the leadership experiences which it offers, AIESEC run exchange program through the 107 countries of its network.

Every year more than 8000 students have the opportunity to live and work abroad volunteering or not to enterprises and not governmental organizations.

Kind of internships

1. Management traineeship: Work in sectors relevant with management, such as finance, accounting, marketing, project management, organizational management, human resources etc.

2. Technical traineeship: Work relating to Computer and Information Technology. It may include web development and management, software development and programming, systems analysis and design, network and database management.

3. Development traineeship: It concerns volunteering work for social development issues. It could include human rights, environmental issues, education, HIV and entrepreneurship.

4. Educational traineeship: Work related to education. It may include language teaching courses, vocational guidance, cultural understanding and personal growth.

Practical information

If you are interested in management, educational or technical traineeships you will work in a company and you will be paid at least the basic salary of the country you are going to, so that you can handle your own expenses. About development traineeships, the intern doesn’t obtain money for his work, but the accommodation and the nutrition are provided from the organization of the traineeship. AIESEC will be there to help you find accommodation and integrate to your new way of life and to the work.

How can I participate?

In order to participate to the exchange program of AIESEC you should firstly become member of AIESEC, have an introduction and give 10 € for registration fee. If you would like you can also participate to events, projects, conferences and teams of AIESEC to understand better the organization and develop and prepare yourself for the internship.

!!!! The applications take place 3 times per year,

in the beginning of October – December – April !!!!

To apply you need to prepare your CV in electronic form, motivation letter, university transcript and copies of certificates of foreign languages and computer skills. Then you will have an interview to define your expectations and aspirations from this internship and you will have an Outgoing Preparation Seminar from AIESEC. After that, you will have access to the international platform of AIESEC (www.my.aiesec.net), so you can see the available traineeships. The participant should find a program of AIESEC within 3 months about management and technical traineeship and 2 months about development and educational traineeships. AIESEC members of your local committee will be there to help you with anything you need
