So too will the upcoming 2.8GHz, 3GHz, 3.2GHz, 3.4GHz and 3.6GHz 775-pin P4s, all with an 800MHz FSB and to be branded as the Pentium 4 520, 530, 540, 550 and 560, respectively.http://www.theregister.com/2004/06/04/intel_p4_stepping/
soki Ιούνιος 9, 2004 Author #5 Ιούνιος 9, 2004 Intel published some documents last week regarding the new E-0 stepping that would affect mPGA478 2.8A, 2.8E, 3.0E, 3.2E and 3.4E GHz, LGA775 520, 530, 540, 550 and 560 (2.8, 3, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6 GHz) and LGA775 with EM64T 3.2, 3.4 and 3.6 GHz. Apparently, E-0 step will incorporate more power optimizations and NX Bit. We have heard that LGA755 Extreme Edition will come in M0 stepping. Therefore there will be new three steppings available in the market, D0, E0 and M0. The conversion to E-0 Step will incorporate power optimizations to enable speed enhancementso Includes Execute Disable Bit support and additional power management features (LGA775 only)o The CPU ID will change from 0xF34h to 0xF41ho Updated BIOS requiredo E-0 is pin compatible with D-0o Data Sheet available July 14, 2004 New S-Specs for affected product line itemshttp://www.vr-zone.com/?i=887
