PS3 LAN Party στην Αθήνα?

I'm an English student living in Athens,

I've been trying to organise a PS3 LAN party here in Athens while the PSN/Qriocity is down. (but I don't know the Greek gaming community very well)

Is anybody interested?

Can anybody help out with the technical side of this (ie what we would need... other than souvlakia and PS3's)

But mostly... is Anyone interested??

Just wondering how easy can somebody connect 1/2/5/50 PS3's and play with each other... That means we hv to create a kind of PSN right ?

No you simply create a lan network. Normally you can connect two PS3 systems with an Ethernet cable, so if you want to connect more systems you will have to use an Ethernet hub.

And why you should do that?

just use 4 χειριστηρια at each ps3 and use 2-3 ps3.that way you won't have to connect 13513265 ps3:hehe:

No lag, makes the games completely different I presume. Real skill rather than the server God almighty deciding who shot the other first.

So far there's enough interest (from all the Greek sites I posted this on) to have a decent LAN party. so I'll go ahead and organise something and let you know asap.
