Κυκλοφόρησε νέο firmware για το JetSpeed 500 / 500i

Πληροφορίες για το νέο firmware , και τις αλλαγές που αυτό επιφέρει:

jetSpeed Version 8 Added features and know bugs:

- All features of previous firmware versions.

- New ADSL firmware stack

- IKE Translation has been added supporting IPsec VPN connections.

- New RNDIS USB drivers.

- Advanced options have been added for Ethernet Interface(CONFIGURATION --> Change

Modem LAN port IP address --> Advanced).

- RIP default gateway sending, is now configurable.

jetSpeed version 7 added features and known bugs:

- All features of previous firmware versions.

- Security/advanced router options added (firewall, NAT/PAT, session triggers etc.).

- Telnet at port 6123 is blocked.

- Login=intracom, pwd=123456 removed (admin/admin only).

- Bridge/Router menu options (igmp moved to Router).

- Authentication (admin/admin) moved at status as well.

Known bugs:

- Any type of wan from QuickStart page will not function properly, if a wan of a

similar type, created from "WAN connections", was previously deleted.

Temporary Solution:

- Do not create a wan connection using the Wan Connection menu, instead use the

Quick Start feature. If you already face the problem select "Save Config" from the

modem's System menu and reboot your modem.
