Ubisoft pulls a ‘Capcom typo’ in the Collector’s Edition of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Now that’s simply hilarious. Remember those awful Capcom typos? Yeap, the ones found in Street Fighter x Tekken and the boxart of Resident Evil: Revelations? Well, it’s time now for Ubisoft to mess it up, as there is a nice typo in the Collector’s Edition of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Reddit’s member ‘MitchOnReddit’ has captured a screenshot of it that can be viewed below. Obviously, ‘acroos’ should be ‘across’.

Ας αργήσει, προσωπικά είμαι ικανοποιημένος όταν ένας τίτλος δεν μεταφέρεται μέσα σε ένα βράδυ από τις κονσόλες στα PC έχωντας έτσι τραγικά αποτελέσματα κυρίως στο θέμα χειρισμού.

Άντα να βγαίνουν και σιγά σιγά τα gameplay βιντεάκια στο youtube xbox/ps3 vs PC.

Ubisoft has pushed back the release date for the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for another two weeks, to June 29th in the UK (26th in NA and June 28th for the rest of EU).

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which released on consoles on May 22nd, was originally set to launch on PC next week. Ubisoft didn’t offer an explanation as to why the game was delayed. However, the publisher did highlight some “key PC features,” in a recent dev blog:

• Support of DirectX 11 allow the addition of stunning visual details through displacement mapping and additional global illumination effects;
  
• More complex materials through the use of parallax occlusion mapping, gloss maps, and specular maps;
  
• Improved dynamic lighting;
  
• Volumetric lighting effects;
  
• Soft shadows;
  
• Improved post-processing with better HDR and motion blur;
  
• Playable with keyboard and mouse, or with wired and wireless Xbox 360 pads;
  
• Will be available via digital distribution;
  
• Windows XP* patch coming shortly after release.
