AMD vs Intel Dual Core Challenge On Dec 6th

AMD (NYSE: AMD) announced today that it will host a live dual-core duel event in Singapore on December 6. This latest challenge to Intel was issued yesterday in an advertisement in Digital Life of The Straits Times. This challenge is a follow-on to the original challenge issued to Intel on August 23. AMD's proposed dual-core duel would be a live, public performance evaluation between server platforms based on the highest-performing Dual-Core AMD Opteron 800 Series or 200 Series processors and the corresponding Intel x86 server processors that are commercially available in volume

AMD has hosted a live dual-core event in The Ritz-Carlton, Singapore today to challenge Intel on the server and desktop front. This challenge is a follow-up from the initial challenge posed to Intel earlier in August In US. We are also honored to see Hector Ruiz, the CEO of AMD has specially came down to witness the event and address the press and partners on AMD's future directions.

However, Intel as expected did not show up with their Dual-core Xeons machines at the event most probably due to company policy.

το ξερω οτι ειμαστε μακρια.για το μελλον αναφερομαι.μην ερθει δηλαδη η μερα που θα βριζουμε την AMD και θα την αποκαλουμε Ιντέλα
