MemtestG80: A Memory and Logic Tester for NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPUs

Description MemtestG80 is a software-based tester to test for "soft errors" in GPU memory or logic for NVIDIA CUDA-enabled GPUs. It uses a variety of proven test patterns (some custom and some based on Memtest86) to verify the correct operation of GPU memory and logic. It is a useful tool to ensure that given GPUs do not produce "silent errors" which may corrupt the results of a computation without triggering an overt error.

Core Temp 0.99.5 build 20

This version includes digitally signed drivers for use with Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64.

This version fixes the frequency problem which plagued versions 0.99.4 and 0.99.5 by introducing a new method to measure CPU speed. Core Temp now measures the bus speed of the system, multiplies it by each of the cores' multiplier and reports very accurate clock speed.

To test it further please go to Settings (Option menu) and check "On the fly bus clk. detection", this will recalculate the bus speed with every Core Temp update (by default it only updates the multiplier).

On Core i7 systems with CPU multiplier set higher than x25 the best way to use Core Temp is to also check "Use alt. frequency detection" in the Settings box. That way the multiplier is derived from CPU speed / bus speed.

- Fix: Core Temp would start out of the desktop area, and the main Window couldn't be seen/accessed.

- Fix: AMD K8 series incorrectly reports temperature at over 200C (CPU bug, workaround applied).

- Fix: High/low temperatures would be reversed when "Show distance to TjMax" was enabled.

- Fix: Clicking "Defaults" button in settings would enable logging when it should be disabled by default.

- Fix: "Show highest temp of each CPU" systemtray icon configuration sometimes reports duplicate readings.

OCCT (OverClock Checking Tool) 3.1.0

A new version of OCCT (OverClock Checking Tool) has now been released and is ready to abuse CPUs, GPUs and power supplies. According the the app's developer Tetedeiench, the 3.1.0 version includes the following changes:

Futuremark Benchmark Updates

The June 2009 updates are available for 3DMark03, 3DMark05, 3DMark06, 3DMark Vantage, PCMark05 and PCMark Vantage.

These patches update the system information detection component to the latest version for each of these benchmark products. This fixes numerous issues related to hardware detection in the benchmarks.

The updates are available now as patches from the mirrors listed below and soon as full installer packages from mirror sites.

Advanced and Professional Users can also soon download the updated full install packages from the same download page (credentials supplied in the receipt email) they originally used to download the application.

NOTE: Benchmark scores are NOT affected by this update. All scores are comparable with previous results. Benchmark version numbers will remain the same.

Have rewritten the tweaker in VB.Net to support Vista's UAC, Fixed a few little problems, Removed some things that people have emailed me about, Still no support for RAM drive settings sorry, Hope it helps.

To keep the XS guys happy, I put an option in the Settings window so you can look at real time VID info on the main screen instead of the timer. It might drop down to a lower value at idle depending on your motherboard and bios settings like EIST and C1E. On a mobile CPU, you might also see some intermediate values somewhere between VID Min and VID Max during an EIST transition.
