Chrome 4.1.249.1064

- Fixed problem when Google Chrome was not using the correct path for the Java plugin for Java Version 6 Update 20.

- 4.1.249.1059 was much slower on JavaScript benchmarks than 4.1.249.1045.

- Fixed - High Cross-origin bypass in Google URL (GURL).

- Fixed - High Memory corruption in HTML5 Media handling.

- Fixed - High Memory corruption in font handling.

* Improved application notification scheme during runtime profiles adjustment. Now runtime changes in OSD application profiles (e.g. OSD zoom ratio change on the fly) are reflected in affected application almost immedaitely instead of approximately 1 second delay in the previos versions

* Reduced runtime skin engine memory footprint due to dynamic skin storage unloading

* Improved race condition protection system for multithreaded 3D engines (e.g. Dragon Age: Origins and ArmA II)

* Improved race condition protection system for the systems running multiple OSD applications simultaneously (e.g. OSD server, FRAPS and STEAM In-Game Chat)

* Improved floating injection address hooking technology. Due to more advanced built-in code analyzer hooks can be injected deeper into 3D application code if stealth mode is enabled. These changes improve stealth mode compatibility with third party tools using similar stealth injection technologies (e.g. FRAPS v2.9.8 and newer)

* Now stealth mode cannot be toggled during 3D application runtime to reduce the risk of crashing 3D application

* Removed single screen capture per second limitation

* Updated profiles list

All

- The toolbar, omnibox and other UI changes reverted for Chrome 5 have been restored in this build.

- Fixed bug related to scheme stripping that could cause URLs of the form "http://ftp.foo.com" to be misnavigated, by not stripping the scheme in this case.

- Many bugs fixed relating to stripping "http://" and its interaction with the clipboard. Chrome should now prepend schemes onto the pasted text in a variety of situations.

Mac

- Continual polish to main frame UI, including the bookmark bar

Linux

- Bookmark bar icons should no longer be cropped under some GTK themes (particularly, the new ones in Ubuntu Lucid).

- Flash content when using nspluginwrapper should be clickable again.

Security

- Linux: Fixed a crash caused by a premature application data record in the middle of an SSL handshake (Issue: 42538)

- Skype crashed for the caller when a call was being forwarded to a phone and answered on the actual device.

* Skype Access

- Extending a Skype Access session first resulted in a “hotspot not valid” dialog, then after a few seconds the session got correctly extended, but the cost information and wifi SSID was not shown.

Pidgin version 2.7.0

Changes include:

- Changed GTK+ minimum version requirement to 2.10.0.

- Changed GLib minimum version requirement to 2.12.0.

- Using the --disable-nls argument to configure now works properly. You will no longer be forced to have intltool to configure and build.

- Fix two related crashes in the GnuTLS and NSS plugins when they suffer internal errors immediately upon attempting to establish an SSL connection.

- Fix NSS to work when reinitialized after being used. (Thanks to Ludovico Cavedon for the testcase)

- Added support for PURPLE_GNUTLS_PRIORITIES environment variable. This can be used to specify GnuTLS priorities on a per-host basis. The format is "host=priority;host2=priority;...". The default priority can be overridden by using "*" as the host. See the GnuTLS manual for documentation on the format of the priority strings.

- Fix autoconf detection of Python. (Brad Smith)

- Fix a crash when a Windows proxy (from IE) does not have a port. (Marten Klencke)
