Η Qualcomm ανακοίνωσε το VR820

Η Qualcomm ανακοίνωσε το δικό της VR HDM, το VR820, το οποίο χρησιμοποιεί έναν Snapdragon 820 ως κεντρικό επεξεργαστή. Το VR820 δημιουργήθηκε σε συνεργασία με την Goertek ώστε να προσφέρει VR χωρίς καλώδια και χρησιμοποιεί δύο οθόνες ανάλυσης 1440x1440 τύπου AMOLED στα 70Hz, έχοντας δυνατότητα απεικόνισης 4K στα 70Hz αξιοποιώντας το HEVC codec.

 

Το VR820 είναι ένα reference design το οποίο θα είναι διαθέσιμο στο τέταρτο τρίμηνο του έτους, ενώ εμπορικές συσκευές που θα βασίζονται σε αυτό θα δούμε να διατίθενται μέσα στο επόμενο έτος.
