August 11 Patch and #1 Top Seller!

We've just pushed a build that will (hopefully) address issues with the statistics system for Linux servers.

There's also a new 'stats' tag that you can enter into the server browser to ensure you are collecting stats.

Also, your name in the Leaderboard will remain visible.

Other changes include updated nav mesh for Market and Buhriz to improve bot navigation, and fixed small issues in Panj and updated its nav mesh. HUD icons viewed through sights are improved.

We wanted to get out a new patch as soon as possible to address the stats issues many people have reported. Keep up the feedback, thanks!

The long list of candidates for the Gamebanana & Razer Insurgency Mapping Contest has arrived! The gents at Gamebanana have selected their top entries, and now NWI will playtest these maps with the community to narrow down the finalists. There will be a second round of playtests with the short list of finalists, and from that, the NWI judges will select the top four winners.

Nightfall Free DLC Released

New World Interactive (NWI) is excited to announce that the latest free content update for INSURGENCY, called Nightfall, is now available on Steam. As the name suggests, the DLC focuses on night-time operations, featuring night themed content such as night-vision goggles and flare guns, as well as an exciting new cooperative game mode called Survival.

In this new mode, players must move from safehouse to safehouse with their friends in an effort to slowly gain supply and survive an endless onslaught. Players use stealth to evade their enemy or directly engage in tense firefights to survive, creating an open-ended, sometimes frightening experience.

“This new content update is our most significant one to date,” recalls Jeremy Blum, Founder and Game Director at New World Interactive. “Night warfare is intense and sometimes scary in Insurgency. The Survival game mode has proven to be a great addition to the game, catering to players interested in a compelling cooperative experience that focuses on scavenging and evasion rather than progressing linearly through a map.”

A new map has been added to the game - Verticality. The map features both day and night versions and can be played on a wide variety of Insurgency’s game modes.

The new party system is also in its first stage of implementation. Players can now form a lobby and all join a server together. The system will be further expanded upon in the coming months, and will eventually include a competitive matchmaking system where one party can face off against another.

Μιας και το πηρα απο το humble ειπα να παιξω λιγο, πειραζει που μου φανηκε σαν ενας κλωνος απο CS+Rising Storm ;

Δε με εντυπωσιασε, προτιμω το Rising Storm εαν και εκει σχεδον ποτε δε βρισκεις σερβερ με σωστο ping.

παμε για μια συγκριση head 2 head μιας και ειχα κανει preorder το RO2 τον αυγουστο του 11 στα 36 ευρω

1) το insurgency εχει coop, 3 modes κιολας αρκετα διαφορετικα μεταξυ τους, το RO2 εχει μεινει ακομα στο "θα"

2) το ro2 εχει 3 διαφορετικα presets για τον ρεαλισμο, action - realism (μονο realism δεν ειναι ) και classic, επισης εχει το Immersion Overhaul Mutator που ειναι ο μονος τροπος για να το χαρεις πραγματικα imo, το 90% των παικτων παιζει μονο σε realism .... στο insurgency ολοι παιζουν το ιδιο παιχνιδι ανεξαρτητως server

3) το zoom (shift)στο insurgency δουλευει μονο οταν εισαι σε φαση ADS και εχει χρονικο οριο μερικα δευτερολεπτα ... bandage peripheral view indicators minimap και λοιπες χαζομαρες φυσικα απουσιαζουν

4) το insurgency εχει πολυ πραγμα ακομα να προστεθει σε updates ενω το ro2 εχει κανει τον κυκλο του εστω και με το ζορι ( 6 μηνες για μπει το classic mode, 18 μηνες για να γινει rebalance 2μιση χρονια για να μπουνε οι μεταφορεις προσωπικου και 3 χρονια για να μπουνε 2 αρματα εξτρα )

5) αγαπαμε source engine

Κι όμως το προτιμώ απο το να είμαι σκυμμένος πάνω στο Mouse+keyboard

Ε όχι, fps με gamepad ειναι απλά no-go.

Επαιξα λίγο, πολυ καλό το παιχνιδι αν και το λαπτοπακι μου ζοριζεται λίγο.

πώς την βρίσκεται ζορισμένοι πάνω στο πληκτρολόγιο, δεν καταλαβαίνω...

 

Πολυθρόνα, πόδια ψηλά και άνεση είναι το θέμα.

 

Αμα παίζω και μετά δεν μπορώ να κουνηθώ, δεν είναι διασκέδαση είναι καταναγκασμός.

 

Anyway, το παιχνιδάκι τα σπάει για 0.87 που ετσιμπήθει προσφάτως είναι τρομερό.
