Star Wars Battlefront will not have aiming-down-ironsights

 

Patrick Bach, executive producer at developer DICE confirmed the news in an interview with OXM – as reported by GamesRadar.

“There are no ironsights in Star Wars, on the ordinary blasters,” he said.

 

“You have scopes on some rifles, but there are no ironsights.”

Star Wars: Battlefront does not have classes or squads

 

Battlefront won’t have squads or classes, apparently.

 

In an interview published in the latest issue of OXM, as reported by Gamesradar, design director Niklas Fegraeus said players just freely pick whatever equipment they fancy, rather than being constrained to a pool of class-specific choices.

 

New equipment is gated by XP, but interestingly, you’ll be able to share your unlocks with your Partner. This enables scenarios like two good friends agreeing to always purchase different unlocks so they can pool their resources, or a higher-level player giving a newb access to a fancy top-tier weapon to help them hold up their end of the partnership.

 

Partners replace Squads; instead of teaming up in groups of five, you’ll have just one buddy to spawn on and track via your HUD.

Star Wars Battlefront – Official Gameplay To Debut June 15, DICE Unveils New “Fighter Squadron” Game Mode

 

“So tune in starting June 15, because at E3 this year, Star Wars Battlefront gameplay will make its debut and we’re all super excited to show it to you.”

“For example, we have created new game modes and made new maps to cater to their specific experience.

You could see a tiny snippet of this in our trailer where you saw the Fighter Squadron mode, where you engage in huge Starfighter battles over canyons big enough to be truly epic.

Then, for those not in the mood for large scale battles, we have created Missions where players can, for example, take on armies of AI or test their piloting skills. All our Missions can be played either alone or cooperatively, making them perfect for some quick Star Wars action when you have a friend over.”

Box art for the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition has been posted over on Amazon, and it is really cool.

 

Hopefully you haven’t seen it before, because we haven’t until today.

As previously announced, the Deluxe Edition of the game unlocks five in-game items: DL-44 blaster, Ion Grenade, Ion Torpedo, Ion Shock and Victory.

Amazon customers can pre-order the game on all three platforms, and the same Digital Deluxe version for the PC is also available digitally through Origin.

Those who pre-order the game from any participating retailer, gain early access to DLC containing two maps set on the planet Jakku on December 1 before the game is released to the general public on December 8.

και κάπου εδώ κολλάει το επεισόδιο south park με τον cartman που πάγωσε γαι να πάει μπροστά στο χρόνο στο release του Nintentdo wii

Κάπου εδώ κολλάει ότι δεν προπαραγγέλνω τίποτα ξανά από Battlefield και θα περιμένω 6-8 μήνες πριν το πάρω. Αν είναι να το καταντήσουν όπως το 4, με όλες τις βλακείες που έκαναν για να προσαρμόσουν το παιχνίδι στα γούστα μερικών, να μου λείπει.

Καμια σχεση με battlefield. Αλλο παιχνιδι. ΜΑ ΤΕΛΕΙΩΣ ΑΛΛΟ...

Οσο battlefield ειναι το mirror's edge catalyst, αλλο τοσο ειναι και αυτο.

 

Eυτυχως δηλαδη γιατι δεν ειχα καμια ορεξη να ασχοληθω με πιου-πιου.....

 

Κρατηστε τα λεφτα σας για το SQUAD. Αυτο θα ειναι battlefield. (το ελπιζω δηλ)

 

Με τη DICE σε multi θα ξανασχοληθω στο bf5 (το ελπιζω και αυτο... θα δειξει απο αυτα που θα βλεπουμε μεχρι τοτε)

Στο mirror's edge catalyst δε τους φοβαμαι, μια χαρα θα ειναι το παιχνιδι.
