Introduced back in 1984 (το 1985 βέβαια - το 1984 βγήκε το Α2), the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 revolutionized rallying. Just like the other manufacturers, Audi used the lenient homologation requirements to create a new rally car. All the car maker needed for homologation was a production run of a mere 200 cars.
Blomqvist's spectacular, sideways driving style suited the Sport quattro perfectly. By flicking the tail out, the Swede overcame the natural understeer of the nose-heavy Audi. He won five of the twelve rounds and was crowned the 1984 World Champion. Mikkola and Roehr (Röhrl βέβαια) also won a round, which was enough to clinch the constructor's trophy.(Περιγράφουν το 1984 το 1985 δεν πήραν τίποτα με το S1E2!)

Θάνο από τα λίγα γερμανικά που θυμάμαι τα ουμλάουντ ελληνιστί διαλυτικά το ö => oe ενσωματώνουν.Aν κάποιος ταχει πιο φρέσκα ας πει.

Αμελητέο και λάθος να είναι φυσικά. Το θέμα είναι ότι το κείμενο έχει και άλλα λάθη και ανακρίβειες σε 5 γραμμές εκτός από αυτά που επισήμανα , οπότε ή τα παιδιά δεν έχουν επαφή με τα ραλλυ αντίστοιχη με τις πίστες ή το έχει γράψει κάποιος άσχετος από το μάρκετινγκ πχ. Πάντως για άλλη μια φορά η δουλειά τους  είναι από άλλον πλανήτη!
